The Founder and Funder, Isaac Chalumbira has been feeding homeless people in Braamfontein, Johannesburg for the past 15 years, an initiative that was born out of pure need when homelessness started becoming a major challenge in and around his businesses.

 

It started with us providing them with hot tea and bread every morning as we believed breakfast is the most important meal of the day and most homeless people have too many struggles to overcome so eliminating hunger solves half their problems.

 

One Moment Foundation was formalized and registered as a non profit organization in 2019 with Thembelihle ( Themba ) Mbatha-Chalumbira, co-founder stepping up to manage the daily operations
